Leaked scripts of Transformers 2: Real or Fake?

Recently I got a PDF copy of “Transformers 2” movie’s script in net. I don’t know whether it is real or fake. But it is sure entertaining. There are some touches of drafts and over pouring of ink for covert the identity, which make more confusion about the authentication. I got it from the site Transformer Live Action Movie Blog.

Transformers

Unlike the cartoons, this script focuses on the transformers more than the humans. There are numerous transformers in both sides- Autobots and Decepticons. If it is the real story line, then it is obvious that TF2 is gonna be one of the most expensive Hollywood movie of all time. More over it has an unfinished story, which means of coming another part- TF3. The writer of this script (whether it is real or fake) should be thanked for such a colorful story line.

Don Murphy, the producer of the movie, has some comments in his here. This scripts may be or may not be an authentic one.

Happy 78th Birthday, Tintin!

Last week, January 10, 2008 was the 78th birthday of Tintin, the all time great comic hero. The masterpiece revealed the adventures of Tintin in 1929 this day. Tintin was so popular in fact that more than three million books of Tintin‘s escapades are sold each year, in 58 languages. But to say the truth, you’ve not experience the real TINTIN until you’ve read it. Although the character is Belgian he is highly regarded in France. Once the late French President Charles De Gaulle had said, “… deep down, my only international rival is Tintin!“.

The first Tintin book I’ve read was Tintin in Tibet (Bangla translation) 14 years ago. And even today I feel the same excitement to read the series (again n’ again). What is lack there? Actually nothing! Tintin, with his famous spikes (tuft) of blond hair, continually battled evil with the help of his dog Snowy and the drunken Captain Haddock accompanied by the muddled genius Professor Calculus and the Thompson Twins.

The good news is that according to industry reports, Steven Spielberg and The Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson are to bring Tintin to the big screen. Movie publication Variety reports that, Spielberg and Jackson are teaming to direct and produce three back-to-back features based on Georges Remi’s beloved Belgian comic-strip hero Tintin for DreamWorks. Movie will be produced in full digital 3-D using performance capture technology. Jackson’s special effects team Weta Digital has already produced a 20-minute test reel showing how the finished films might look.

Prince of Persia: Disney's new Blockbuster?

Who’ve not heard of Prince of Persia? I first played Prince of Persia while I was a student of class five. I played it one of my uncles house. It was my favourite game then. I am telling of such a tme when NFS series had not been launched. In 2003, when “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” was relesed, I just thrilled to see the graphics. Here is a short history about Prince of Persia (who does not know about it).

Debuted in 1989 for the Apple II, Prince of Persia was then quickly developed for IBM PCs, the Atari ST, Nintendo and Sega’s third-generation systems, and Game Boy. Sequels followed in the 1990s and in the fall of 2003, the franchise gained new life when Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was made available on PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox, Game Boy Advance, and Windows computers. Subsequent adventures have premiered in the two following holiday seasons.

On the heels of their record-breaking Pirates of the Caribbean series, Walt Disney production is going to make films based on this block buster game.  From the title, it would appear that it would be based on merely 2003’s game and would be the first of three installments made. Originally pegged for a late 2008 release, this film — which will be directed by Michael Bay (Armageddon, The Rock, Transformers) — will now open July 10, 2009.

If it remains true to the video game, Sands of Time follows the Prince of Persia, his father King Sharaman, and the Maharajah’s daughter Princess Farah in a trek across India to Azad. Along their way, their potent, newly-acquired possesions (a giant hourglass full of sand and a mysterious dagger) make them the targets of a dying Vizier and his staff. Romantic relationships, time warps, and twisted allegiances all figure into what unravels and most of that is sure to translate to the type of sweeping, spectacle cinema that Bruckheimer has repeatedly relied on with success.

I dont know who’ll be in the Prince’s roll, but this movie will surely rock!

Fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro as Bumblebee.

Bumblebee makes an appearance as one of the Autobots in the 2007 live-action movie Transformers. Instead of a VW Beetle, he is a Chevrolet Camaro in the movie. Due to a battle injury, he is rendered effectively mute, and communicates through use of selected playback of radio and television signals.

Free Image HostingMichael Bay stated in an early interview that Bumblebee stands about 17 feet tall. The official guide to the Transformers video game says he’s 16 feet tall. Bay insisted that Bumblebee be something other than a VW Beetle because it seemed too much like “Herbie the Love Bug” to him.

Producers settled on a 1977 model for first appearance of Bumblebee in the movie. It is painted yellow with black stripes, primer and rust patches, riveted hood scoop, Cragar SS wheels up front, Eric Vaughn Real Wheels in the back, marine-grade vinyl seats, and even an eight-track player. After the first fight with Barricade (Saleen Mustang police car), Bumblebee transform into a Fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro. The Fifth-generation model was built using a 2006 Pontiac GTO by Saleen, the body was built from the same GM R&D molds that were used in the prototype 08/09 Camaros. Early photos show that Bumblebee can transform his right arm into an energy cannon, and has missile launchers in his shoulders.

Are you a sci-fi movie fan? Do you like heart beat skipping action? Do you like cars? Then Transformers is for you. Director Michael Bay again hits the box office with his new movie. I like Michael Bay for his movies like Armageddon, The Rock and The Island . In this movie Bay uses cars like Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac.

Plot of Transformers:
The film begins with Optimus Prime explaining Cybertron’s destruction at the hands of Megatron, and his quest to obtain the Allspark. Megatron discovers the Allspark on Earth, but crash-lands in the Arctic Circle, becoming frozen in the ice. Sector 7, a secret United States government organization, discovers the Allspark and builds the Hoover Dam around it to mask the energy signal. The still-frozen Megatron is moved into this facility.

In the present day, the rest of the Decepticons — Blackout, Frenzy, Barricade, Starscream, Scorponok, Bonecrusher and Devastator — have landed on Earth and assumed the disguise of Earth vehicles (except Scorponok, who keeps his scorpion-like alien form). Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base in Qatar and try to hack into the military database to find where Megatron and the Allspark are, but failed. While Blackout destroys the rest of the base, Scorponok was also repelled while chasing a small group of survivors. After their failure, Frenzy infiltrates Air Force One to hack again into the military database. He finds the map imprinted on Captain Witwicky’s glasses, which his descendant Sam intends to sell on eBay for money. Frenzy and Barricade begin tracking Sam’s location.

The Autonomous Robotic Organism (shortened to “Autobot”) Bumblebee is also on Earth, disguised as a 1976 Chevrolet Camaro, and looking for Sam. Sam buys Bumblebee, without knowing that Bumblebee is an alien until he sees Bumblebee transform and send a homing signal to the rest of the Autobots. While Sam flees from his autonomous car, Barricade confronts him and demands Captain Witwicky’s spectacles. Bumblebee, who is following Sam, transforms and defeats Barricade. The other Autobots — Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ironhide, and Ratchet land on Earth and take on the forms of Earth vehicles. They all returne to Sam’s home to retrieve the glasses. Although the Autobots manage to get the glasses, agents from Sector 7 arrive and capture Sam and others.

Frenzy secretly accompanies the group to the Hoover Dam and releases Megatron from suspended animation. Locating the Allspark, he sends an alert to the other Decepticons. Megatron escapes and Sam convinces the Sector 7 agents to release Bumblebee so that he can get the Allspark to Optimus Prime. The Decepticons chase the Autobots, who now possess the Allspark, into Mission City. An ensuing battle between Autobots and Decepticons then takes place to own the Allspark.
